The only downside was that the actress is also a major character in Spooks - and though her performance was excellent (as it is in Spooks) - I think she's just that bit too well known?
I knew I recognised her from somewhere! Obviously it was from Spooks.
Nicola Walker, also from The Last Train and Chalk.
Hmmm, can't view it in Wales - is there any BBC 3 repeat?
You should be able to view it on BBC TWO Wales but not BBC2W, involves a change of route for the aerial lead in my house!
Interesting that on BBC2W at the same time you can watch "Wales Today and Sport Extra", Wales' news isn't too bad, imagine if there was the equivalent from BBC East, as far as my housemate is concered, you wouldn't notice much of a difference between Look East and Look Out East
I watched again tonight, but I just don't find it particularly funny. Perhaps it's a little TOO close to the truth - some of the observations made I think would only apply to news junkies.
They've taking the same jokes and just applying different stories to them - very disappointing considering all of the stuff they could have done. Especially with "Half Way There Day" which would have been a great chance to take the michael out of some of the great coverage of Rememberance Day which is very very clichéd.
I still think the humour of Chris Morris captured TV news perfectly and intelligently - Broken News just seems a bit like taking the obvious and replicating it with silly stories. Not really that funny.
Well the BBC (and the Government) are trying to persuade the public to take up a digital tv service so they can shut down the analogue transmitters and profit off the valuable bandwidth left.
I have taken up two digital tv options (NTL and Freeview) but with respect to the BBC2 service I have now lost a valuable tv service. I have been unable to watch any of the first shown comedy on BBC2 for a while now.
So the BBC want people to change-over to an inferior service!
This problem is not going to go away and will become more prevalent as more people opt for a digital tv service solution.

This is not fair.
I would agree, except that that the digital developments also bring things like Telewest Teleport which allows people to watch (some) programmes anytime for a full week following broadcast. NTL will follow shortly, no?
I was able to watch EastEnders on Teleport before the eposides were aired in Scotland, due to a football match.
I'd be surprised if BBC Wales don't rechedule Broken News, but ultimately VoD should answer some of the concerns you raise.
By the way, I could always stick this weeks episode on VHS for you Owan.
