Tough choice where to post this - but thought it might be of more interest to those interested in news...but it strictly isn't about news. Naughty me, I'll watch out for Charlie with that padlock...but anyway...

Saw a trailer earlier just before Family Guy for a new comedy "Broken News" - seems to following the idea of The Day Today but taking it slightly further with news channels. More details are available from the BBC Press Office here. It's simply down as "coming soon" but Digiguide says the first episode is on Monday 31st Oct at 9.30pm.

Here's some caps from the trailer...oh and check out who reading the news on the first cap (if unsure ask me and the kind folk over in the Midlands thread)

I noticed on the trailers the music sounds similar to the new Sky News titles.

-How many more times can we mention Sky News this week... Razz

Looks like it'll be a laugh!

I bet all the graphic designers had fun putting together the graphics packages without all the usual constraints. I bet a fair few people here would have liked to have had a go at that!

Just to be pedantic, the Conservative leadership candidate is David Davis

The Conservative MP for Monmouth is David Davies (not contesting the leaderahip).

Now theres confusion Laughing

How very inconsiderate of them. I'd better not mention a certain former Midlands Today presenter and FA boss in that case. Wink
