That is superb... but I can only think, its not even in use yet and they're going to have to change the light bulbs.

Thank you for sharing! Wow, these are really lovely sets. Not long to go now. They are going to look great on-screen. A much better set up than anything they have at present. Salford has produced some excellent studios and sets so far, especially for Sport.

These are really nice... April is shaping up to be an exciting month.

I'm actually quite surprised BBC World News wont be using the Bigger set as their sports programmes are longer than the NC's. I would assume they would definitely use the bigger set for Sports World Have Your Say.

Could they not allocate the sets on an as-needed rota depending on which updates need what? If you imagine the (UK overnight) Sports Today bulletins, for example, they are entirely to-camera, so the smaller set would be fine. The same is probably true for a lot of the UK sports updates, if they have no guest or reporter to interview. Like you say, Sports World Have Your Say and Sportsday would surely come from the bigger set.

With an £8.50 adult admission fee! It should be free for anyone from a household that pays the TV Licence.

How's that work then? You may as well argue that all BBC DVDs/magazines etc should be free too.

If you live in most postcodes in Manchester, Salford or Trafford authorities, you'll have free access on their community open days.

Oh look, I do! Very Happy
