I hope they will show the newsroom behind and not hide it with whatever is under those sheets.

I assumed from the tweets that it was a second position, so the NC would use that and World would be in the one that's under wraps. Might well be wrong though.

Have to disagree with you there, these flickr images clearly show the First studio is directly beneath the big 'BBC Sport' ring on the ceiling.

In the image of the covered set, you can clearly see the ring in the background.
So there are definitely two Office-based sets on the ground floor
In fact, if you look closely at this image below, you can actually see the 2nd studio behind the pillar and the guy looking at the tv screens is actually standing in the 2nd set.
I think, reading that guys twitter, that the "first position" is the studio they're using for MOTD / Final Score.

As far as we are aware there is no rebrand planned. Graphics will have to be HD for BBC World News, which the current package is. That said, they have a rebrand every 4 or 5 years, but my guess is they would wait until 2013 when Domestic News moves in.
Looking at the studios they're building, i really cant see them having a major rebrand (like 1999) so just a variation on what we've got, and David Lowe's music will stay. (Its still the best news theme in the world they'd be doolally mental to replace it)
As with TVC News Centre Studios, BH Studio blueprints will most likely not be published as they will not be available to hire, and Set design blueprints are never published.
I am so excited about news move to BH. Surely someone have blueprint of plans for new studios. I expect its going to be a relaunch?
