So News not moving in until 2017!

OK, they say 2013 in the article, but they've said 2008 in the past, and the last I heard 2012, so if they now say 2013... who knows!

It is confusing. It appears, according to reports at least, that The Sunday Politics (formerly The Politics Show) will move in September 2012. Presumably other TC7-based shows would also move soon after, such as The Andrew Marr show and Newsnight?

I thought Newsnight was moving before the Olympics.

The first half of 2012 will see TV and Radio current affairs co-siting on the fourth floor and the move of some Newsgathering specialists. It is critical, Griffee says, that big battalions like World Service News and Newsnight, which are not in the frontline of Olympic coverage, are installed before London 2012 next July

I thought it was coming from Millbank, not TV Centre?

Will the weekday version remain at Millbank? Theoretically the TC7 equivalent in Broadcasting House is free at that time thanks to the end of Working Lunch.

Surely it would be better staying at Millbank. They interview many of politicians on the programme, and it's much easier for them just to pop round the corner to Millbank than across the city to TVC.

But Chris is meaning wouldn't you move The Daily Politics to Broadcasting House when operations there start, not TVC. To which surely the answer is 'only if they're not keeping Millbank'. If production will continue to be based there, surely it's easier to use the pre-existing studio too?

The studio in W1 will be used for other programmes during this timeslot so will not be available.

My guess would be BBC London's studio (and newsroom) with it having the office ceiling, and tiny podium with coffee table. It does look very News 24 though!
