Cant wait to see it finished. - Just out of shere curiosity, what floor is this on, and does it look out onto more office space, or is there a nice view out of a window (behind the photographer)?

That'll almost certainly be used for Final Score, whether the put MOTD or Focus in there I'm not sure the other set it pretty nice.

Why would it be used for MOTD. They have just got a new set, they surely don't need another?!

That set is probably being used for Final Score. I imagine they are going for the Soccer Saturday image, with the newsroom style look!

It's on the ground floor right next to the entrance. I'm pretty sure the photographer is stood on the (quite random) set of stairs that lead to 5 Live. The direction the photographer is facing would have the window, behind him was still being built (I think) when I was there but I expect it would be more office space.

I could well have misjudged the angle he's stood at but if he is on those stairs then I must be right! Very Happy

This is on the ground floor. Originally BBC Breakfast was supposed to be here with a window overlooking the Media City plaza. The windows, from what I can tell from the perspective, are at the back of this shot, furthest away from the photographer.

Interesting seeing the insides of MediaCity in Salford. All that custom bright coloured furniture must've cost a bomb, and it's not very comfortable either (we have some similar pieces in our uni).

From that article:

Quote:
In total, five brand new sets will have to be installed for the One, Six and Ten, Newsnight/World News and the News Channel.

Do we reckon this implies the One, Six and Ten will be a different set? We always thought there would be five studios but assumed one would include BBC London. This could just be a semantics error though.

The print edition has a schematic which shows the following:
Studio A: Virtual Reality
Studio B (Big Flexible): Newsnight, World News, Marr
Studio C: World News
Studio D: BBC London
Studio E: News Channel

E is in the lower ground floor, with the newsroom view, the rest are in the sub-basement.
