The Guardian seemingly have a review of the new Television Centre ready to go, as it was mistakenly published and shared to social media a few days ago, but has since been removed. Still appears on Google though with a brief preview of the article.

Walked past on the way into work this evening and noticed the front of TC1 was being lit up in multicoloured lights. Still a bit of work being done in the forecourt but it looks like it won't be long before it opens.

I thought the side of TC1 still had white lights...

I suspect they have taken the opportunity of fitting RGB LED rather than white LED... So it can be white - but can also be other colours?

Here it is earlier tonight. You can just about see the LED lights on the floor in front of TC1, they cycle through different colours.

That looks like a new audience entrance into TC1.

That porch thing is not new, that was there, if not from day one, certainly for donkeys years. It even had those bus shelter flip seats in it I seem to remember. A common complaint from audiences was that they were kept waiting in the cold for ages after being admitted through security. In the latter years, an area in Stage V was converted to The Foyer, a large audience holding area with a cafe and BBC Shop. Slightly weirdly this area also became the overnight canteen for staff when the restaurant block decided serving food 24/7 wasn’t in its core remit any more...

With it lit up, you can really see the shading where the BBC blocks used to be

To me that actually looks like the marks from the 1994-97 sign!
