Some of what's left of BBC3 moving to Birmingham:

BBC3 is to move half of its operations to Birmingham

Shocked

I can't believe that "BBC hilarious Roman two" (as its logo now reads) - a.k.a. "certain bits of iPlayer" - consists of enough "operations" to be divided in half!

It must be just... pfft... two people and an iPad (or something) that's moving to Brum!

Interesting what looks like glass roofed corridor above the studios. Wonder what that is

I take it the satellite dishes on top of the East Tower, and Stage 6 arent in use, and just haven't been removed yet?
Also, is it angles at work, but it looks like a small tower block has been built on the roof of TC2?

On the East Tower yes, but I would assume the ones on Stage 6 are Worldwides, they'd probably want to keep an eye on their channels

That's always been there, there was one above TC5 too. I think the one above TC2 on the 2nd or 3rd floor was home to the weather centre.

The new building on the roof of the scenery runway contains the new air-con.

The weather centre was in the main block. The East and West Periphery were some rather grotty 80s(?) sheds which were presumably added when office space was at a bit of a premium. Amongst other things, they apparently blocked a nice view of Hammersmith Park from the Club's terrace!

I was talking about the 4 storey main block wing over TC2 rather than the Periphery.

That was about where the weather centre was around the circle so I assume it extended into that
