This may have been pointed out before but notice how you can see the outline of the slanted B B C logo on the front of TVC.

Actually you can also see remnants of the original 1960s signage if you look close enough.

Interesting the slanted logo left such a mark when it was only there for about 3 years, but marks from the 60s signage is hard to make out even though it was there for 30 years!

Perhaps the material it was made out of... it made a hell of a mark in Manchester too!

Just in case no one has seen this - at least one bit of TVC looks ever so slightly presentable

There was a broadcast professional open-day this week - I suspect photos were taken then. There will have been people from BBC Studios involved with the development around TCs1-3, who will have taken pictures during the work that has been ongoing.

BBC S&PP will be promoting the new Television Centre facilities this June. Just a few tasters...

The new Red Assembly - not that far from the old one but looking a bit better

*

Dressing Rooms - with a touch of IKEA I think Very Happy

*
*

5 Edit suite and all purpose rooms

*

There is a decent sized kitchen, laundry & two green rooms. Technical fit out is due at the end of the year.

The other areas next to TC3 will obviously not be ready until the end of the year given there is just a (boarded off) gaping hole at the end of the scenery runway- but its nice to be able to see some creativity rather than destruction.

Not one of the studios this thread covers, but it's not worth creating a new thread. I found this video of HTV Wales' studio complex being torn down.

Someone did submit a Television Centre set to Lego Ideas, but it didn't gain enough support to be put into production.
