All the offices I saw were all cleared and empty when I was last there last summer.
I suspect this lot is mostly from the news centre, maybe it just takes a while to take everything out and collate together for sale, as well as assess what is useful to keep for reuse elsewhere.
Incidently, some parts of TVC are still operational and live... It'll be a while until it's all the bits that will be redeveloped are cleared totally

Not sure if this is the right place for this but BBC Wales are due to announce the new location of their HQ tomorrow but Wales Online are reporting that it'll be in Central Square, where the current bud station is.

I thought they'd go for the Bay but this makes sense with it being just two hours from London and bang in the centre of town.

Here's the write-up in Ariel:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/ariel/27764027
The article says the new building will have "half the current floor space in Llandaff and ... There will also be a 70% reduction in TV studio floor space."
Can anyone do the maths on whether that means Cardiff will no longer have a production studio? I believe there's C1 (production) and C2 (news), but I wonder whether they're including Studio A (the old orchestral studio) in this figure? AIUI Studio-A was used for Crimewatch when it moved from London, but Crimewatch now comes from C1...
Having moved Crimewatch with some fanfare to Cardiff, it makes no sense to end up without a studio for them to use... unless they're going to use Roath Lock for live shows?

So they're not moving back yet because they can't make telly in the middle of a building site. I suspect there will be a queue of people ready to say "I told you so".

And on the subject of TVC, here's a documentary from 1971

Important day tomorrow for the future of late night activity at TVC - 35kW of PA going into TC1/2/3 for acoustic tests to see how much noise escapes towards the new homes.

Maybe a silly question but have they done structural work (or whatever) in there that would change things from how it was before?
