Not that akward really, it sounds just like a normal interview!
I didn't really make it clear: the applicant was BBC staff going for an internal job. Normally and historically, a BBC staff pass is enough to get you in to any BBC site (though of course not necessarily secure areas).
I know of one person who wasn't allowed in to a job interview because they hadn't done it. They had to wait in reception and be chaperoned up to the interview by a member of the panel. Awkward.

With limited space, it looks like the allotments, tube and police stations, Arjee Bhajee and a few smaller bits have been cut. The Arjee Bhajee and the smaller bits aren't going to impact anything really and I am sure they can recreate the allotments elsewhere as needed.
For the police station, as the indoor sets are ok, it can be used, but you won't be able to get any hesitant confession during the temporary set era! Alternatively, they could put a relocation/closure into the plot and reopen once the new set is open.
Other than building part of it elsewhere, the tube station could use a realistic reason for a temporary closure, such as the escalators need replacing. They would then have to use another station, which they could put up as required.
However, the most obvious omission is Sharon's bar, which seems a bit odd.

I'm guessing there will be a station closure story, and possibly some gentrification to block off parts of the streets and tie into the move to the temporary set.
Not sure what the timescale is yet for the move, so we could have a whole year or more still before things happen. Plenty of time for Sharon's Bar to be "dealt with".

The whole projects is a bit more than just a refurb. which will take an estimated 2 years to complete.

Some of that should have been used in the BBC News countdowns. there isn't enough sped up bits in the countdown for my liking (thinking the old days

Reminded me of the titles for House of Cards and if you play the theme in a new tab on YouTube at the same time it fits almost perfectly!

Yet more tat to be had in another round of TVC auctions. Viewings will once again be taking place at TVC, I'm surprised the place hasn't been cleared sooner even if it is a huge building.
