From the ceiling/lighting set-up there, it looks like 'office space' used as a studio (a la N8 and some areas of NBH for BBCWN programmes): not Studio D, which has been described above as having the same specs as A/C & E and is a proper studio.

It is office space - essentially a studio area within the World Service newsroom - used for lots of web-based programmes and for a few other programmes. It's known as the Multi Platform Area.

Does anyone know where Weekly Wipe is being filmed this series as presumably the production team weren't given access to TC10.
It's single-camera at Teddington.

Also, two fantastic photosets: Network Transmission Area, and N1 just before it went on air with World Service Television.

Teddington closes on Christmas Eve 2014, so if they do a series next year they'll have to find yet another location should they want a studio scene

I thought with TV centre closing it left it very tight on studio space all over London? I know lots of extra shows are now filmed at Elstree as a result...perhaps there's other options? Perhaps utilising theatres that's not being used on certain
Days?

The broom cupboard set looks so tatty on the wideshot! I wonder why the monitor is missing from the back of Andi's shot.

Surely you don't have to do that course before you're left on your own in NBH...

I haven't seen the programme yet, but you do genuinely have to attend a course to be let in to NBH. I know of one person who wasn't allowed in to a job interview because they hadn't done it. They had to wait in reception and be chaperoned up to the interview by a member of the panel. Awkward.

And it's the only way of getting that precious red lanyard!

Not that akward really, it sounds just like a normal interview!

Head of Values at the BBC. His task is to clarify, define, or re-define the core purpose of the BBC across all its functions and to position it confidently for the future, in particular for Licence Fee Renegotiation and Charter Renewal in 2016 and 2017 respectively. Reith was then; this is now. The post is sold to Ian as a chance to influence and shape one of the great British institutions. His job is to think Big Thoughts, but it doesn’t him take long to realise that not only does he not have time to think Big Thoughts, he never has time to think any thoughts at all.
