AIUI the new end boards are a result of the total restructuring of BBC Vision

Isn't 'BBC Vision' now called something else?

Yes - though the restructuring happened before the change. Lots of people internally still call it BBC Vision, because BBC Television can also be a bit confusing in normal use (it doesn't include News or Sport on TV AFAIK...)

Looks great (although I've not seen the whole 2 hours). The interesting bit (for me at least) is at 1 hour 20 mins... that area of edit suites is the old DTA presentation area - what he identifies as the BBC 1 and 2 suite is correct, though the Broom Cupboard isn't where he (or Wikipedia) says it was

I could be wrong, but it looks like something mocked up for Hacker's own CBBC programme, Hacker Time. Doesn't look like anything that's good enough to broadcast in, that's for sure.

It looks like Television Centre is going to be featured in the new series of Top Gear starting this weekend.

I've seen a trailer for the new series which features James May standing on top of TC1, with a motorbike stunt being carried out on the roof.
