It might depend on whether it's a BBC related story

I can't remember for certain but some, if not all, production for Later with Jools Holland is in Salford. Any chance of it moving north?

Newsround currently decamping to the Breakfast/NWT studio... problems in their normal MediaCityUK studio.

Although last night's Later live was the last episode from TVC, this year's annual Hootenanny is still being filmed there:

Jools said in the introduction that it was the last time they would be broadcasting from there because it was closing down (despite the fact that it's only closing for redevelopment and the studios will be reopening after this). Does this mean that the show won't be returning to TVC after the redevelopment?

It probably will.

The idea that TV Centre is closing down and will be redeveloped as flats or something is quite firmly engrained. The fact that it will stay as TV studios seems to have passed most people by. See also 'the BBC has moved to Manchester' which is heard lots these days and of course is wrong too.

Incidently despite what Jools said at the beginning of the programme, it hasn't always come from studio 1, when I worked there it was usually in 3

Yes, all of this series it's come from 4. Clearly they wanted this episode to be a big deal.
