What utter utter cr*p.
The BBC is British for Britain, paid for by Britain. Commercial activities are a stain on the editorial independence of the News division that has made it the best, most trusted news broadcaster on the planet.
If Johnny Foreigner wants to look over our shoulder and read the newspaper that we paid for, then let it, but they should never, ever, let non-licence fee payers get the upper hand.
I'm afraid you are not paying for a lot of what you are watching. Because we elected a government who has frozen the Licence fee, an effective 20% cut, BBC News can no longer afford to do a lot of what it used to do.
The money it now gets from it's commercial activities is now paying for a large amount of the output you see.

I would have World News Today coming from Studio E as well, and Duh Nyooz Chanul (which should definitely take second fiddle to an International news channel viewed by hundreds of millions of people) should be kicked out of Studio E from 5-10:30pm.
