This video has some behind the scenes footage of BH and I haven't seen it posted here before.

I think we have seen this. I seem to recall despite the brilliant shots of the studios and newsroom, the conversation descended into people wondering why the meeting was done perched on worktop rather than on chairs, prompting a chair-shortage scare.

Is tonight's Hardtalk from Studio A - looks a bit VR to me.

Yes, HARDtalk is now coming from Studio A, you can view the episode here until October 2013. Although I don't think the studio looks as polished as that used for Newswatch (I think the programme looks a bit spartan and at least Newswatch had a desk), it is still very good and I believe most wouldn't notice it unless told it's fake.

What's the point of using a virtual recreation of TC7 for HardTalk now that it's broadcasting from BH? As TC7 won't be used for much longer anyway, why didn't they bother and design a new virtual environment as they did for Newswatch?

The names of the studios are weird aren't they. You'd have thought the main 1/6/10/NC studio would be A, World B, Newsnight C, Virtual D and London E. In order of 'rank'.

Maybe they don't want people to realise it's moved. I imagine there will be quite a big deal made about World moving to it's new home.

Or maybe they thought the set simply suited the show.

Unless they will 'alter' TC7 to match up with the new style circular sets when they move. If I think right, maybe they are doing a 'soft' move, move the various programmes in first then the actual bulletins, I may be wrong on this.

I'm pretty sure one of the leaked / twitter photos of the galleries shows a new vr hardtalk set which doesn't look like TC7. I'll have a look when I get home tonight.

That first pic gives us a nice view of the set, looks like it's almost done.
