'The Studios: MediaCityUK' has not been used by the BBC, as they are merely a tenant. Why would the change of the commercial name of the site affect how the BBC refer to their operation, which seems to be branded as BBC Salford on non-news productions? (QoS for example)

The truth behind this is that 'MCSL' has gained such a bad reputation for shoddy work that they've had no choice but to rebrand. People in the industry would groan at the mention of MCSL so they're hoping people will think it's a different company now.

I wonder when 'Broadcasting House' moves to Broadcasting House?


I would guess the World at One, PM, the World this Weekend and BH would all move at the same time as they are made by the same production team. Today and The World Tonight will probably move around the same time. Interestingly, Robin Lustig is leaving The World Tonight in December. I wonder if he is going just before the move.
