The BBC's Home Affairs correspondent Tom Symonds tweeted on Friday that he would begin working in NBH on Monday.

I went to Broadcasting House this weekend and I saw a timetable for departments at BBC News on one of the screens in the reception. Didn't take a picture of it and have forgotten about what is moving in when. Can anyone inform us as to when specific BBC News departments are moving in, aside from the programmes already mentioned in recent news articles? Just curious!

And can I say one thing about Broadcasting House - it is a very beautiful building. Both old and new parts fill me with a sense of history of the broadcasting within the building and the exciting new ventures to come within BBC News. I think they've done a wonderful job and may the day when the nationals broadcast from here come sooner than later. I only popped into the reception but the newsroom just looks massive. Those TOTH shots are going to be breathtaking, as we have seen already.

That is what TVland normally looks like... slightly shabby!

They'll won't be using one of the big studios for down the line ( DTL) interviews. That does look temporary but I'd have though that the permanant facilities for doing DTLs probably won't be much more than that - camera, light, earpiece, microphone

Biggest piece of breaking news to happen in Manchester since the BBC moved in to Salford Quays. Asma Mir will be presenting 5 Live Drive from the scene - any other changes likely? Will Bill or Suzannah come from the scene for Breakfast tomorrow?

Are other news programmes likely to use any 5 Live or Breakfast people from the scene?

Studio B used for shots of George Entwistle in the Radio Times, in which he is interviewed. Same studio also used this morning for his address to BBC colleagues on the internal system. Footage on BBC News website.

I wonder how much work they've done on sound dampning in that space. It's a very large space and surrounded by concrete, metal and lots of hard surfaces, I imagine when full and fully working it's going to be pretty noisy
