Thank god! Really was past it and looked like it'd not been cleaned since 1986!

It looked dirty from the front didn't it? The proof being the old slanted BBC logo with the bonking worms NW logo being burned onto the front, but I'll miss it, it'll look weird arriving at Oxford Road train station and not seeing it.

I turned on the TV and then eagerly switched to BBC One with the expectation of seeing one of the new studios at NBH, as the listed programme is the Sunday Politics.

It seems there is an EPG error on Sky. BBC One shows the wrong listings. Crying or Very sad

Nope, BBC has 'Sunday Politics South West' listed as well - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b019cfj3 - even showing a watch live link.

Is this a special one-off airing only in the South West region?? Maybe something political is going off down that part of the world this week??

On the facebook page for Sunday Politics it says it's returning on something like the 22nd Sept.

Just looked further on the Freesat EPG and noticed Andrew Marr is billed in SD on BBC One HD for next Sunday morning, presume this is an error and they've forgotten to include the '[HD]' tag to the EPG listings as surely if this is the first of the new regular programmes to come from NBH then it's going to be in native HD?

It will transmit in HD. Though due to technical limitations, weather will be SD. The conference OB's will be in HD as well, with the exception of Birmingham from the mailbox, which will be SD.
We will be in a bit of a halfway house for a while, as new areas come online.

Will weather become HD after they move to W1?

They will be, or should I say, they are. They have the same cameras as the main studios. In fact, 2 of the 3 weather studios are technically up and running, although the weather staff migration to W1 is not for a while yet.

Cheers for the info, presume just a listings error then. I presume the news insert at the beginning and end will also be SD as that will still be coming from the TVC News Centre rather than NBH, weather also still obviously at NBH with all the rest native HD in the new studio set.

No, news during Andrew Marr is done now by Breakfast presenter from Salford, normally Naga Munchetty, and so it is in full HD goodness.

Weather from TVC, I think you mean, so in SD.

Will be good to see the new set-up this coming Sunday, news inserts in HD will look good. I presume once Sunday politics start on the 23rd their news inserts at the beginning of the programme will come from TVC (before that eventually moves to NBH next year)? Are they planning on improving the quality of what comes out of the Millbank studios as this often looks poor, like poor cross-mod in the analogue days!
