If you have Sky and you go to channel 101 and then go down a channel, do you get a channel called Broadband Test App? I do.

However, I only have an SD box so not a lot happens apart from 'There is a technical fault with this channel'. What do other people with other boxes see?

I get UCB Ireland.

For me, this channel is in between 101 (BBC One) and 0214 (UCB Ireland).

It's a data channel used by Sky nothing will appear on your screen.

I know Sky have a number of channels between 1 and 100 that are used for test feeds, pre launch channels and other things, which usually only appear on the receivers used by Sky themselves and possibly broadcasters receivers.

I don't see it myself, but then I have a HD box, which uses a separate EPG steam to the SD boxes these days, so it could be a mistake on the SD EPG stream.

This channel actually has the number 65535. The channel number only shows in the full EPG or in Favourite Channels, not on the mini EPG. I actually posted something similar in November and davidhorman worked out the significance of 65535.

As you say, a mistake which I assume will probably be corrected tomorrow.

Its been there for years it shows up on a non Sky box as a data channel, if its showing on a Sky box its probably because its had the TV flag set to it by accident.

Odd that it doesn't show on HD boxes, though (ABP News did, IIRC).
