British Soap Awards 2011

So which is the best Soap Opera/Continuing Drama? I know what I believe will win this most important award.

Enough post padding, I noticed in the advert for votes that the old pre 2005 Emmerdale logo was used (in 3d to). Surely it will be harder to get hold of the old logo rather than the new logo? Therefore it leaves a question. Is the old logo coming back or was its use a mistake?

Who do you believe will win? I hope its Corrie but doubt it as most of the time they get robbed at these things!

It'll be between the big two of course, and EE usually gets the nod whether deserved or not - but although I don't watch it anymore I'd quite like to see Emmerdale break the monopoly as they've had a superb year and I think are the only soap to have increased ratings in the last twelve months.

After the tram crash, there is only one worthwhile result.

EastEnders will probably win mind!

Next Year Emmerdale is 40 in October, I wonder what they will be doing for it. It would be nice if the Soap Awards come to Leeds next year it would be a nice thing to do for Emmerdales 40th Birthday. Emmerdale especially Danny Miller deserves an award.

I totally agree about Emmerdale and Danny Miller. I hope he wins something this year, the best actor award will prob go to EE again tho Also Best Dramatic Performance but he is up against Jane Danson and she was amazing in the live episode.
