Is it actually live? Because when I see: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6177591.stm which has all the award winners, It somewhat defies belief that this is actually live. Confused

Looking at the last line, I don't think BBC News were supposed to publish that just yet. Shocked

Well even the article at the end states "Chat show host Jonathan Ross hosted the award ceremony, which was broadcast live on ITV."

The winners except for the public vote are known before the show, and it's probably embargoed until the show starts transmitting.

I noticed that there were quite a few pot shows towards ITV and money making.

On the version I was watching there were 'digs' as you put it to all broadcasters and stars. That is what Jonathan's introduction is all about
