The best bit for me goes to the complete pi$$ taking by the crowd of when the sponsors spokesman doing his business for One-Tel. The poor bloke will probably never live that night down!

We wouldn't have wanted it to be posthumous now would we?

In regard to Lenny Henry, a tad previous to say the least. Bit like when This is Your Life did slebs in their twenties. What life?

Lenny has probably crammed more professionally into the last 30 years than some of his peers will in their whole career. He started off very young.

I agree entirely. But "lifetime" implies the award should go to someone who has retired, or is nearing retirement, surely?

Having said that, the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award very rarely goes to anyone with much of a personality. Most Popular Sportsperson would be more appropriate.

Well over on ITV2 now they are holding an auction of comedy items, with Jon Culshaw and Mark Durden Smith. The problem being that all the guests are drunk to say the least, so nobody is bidding and they are getting absolutely nowhere. The guests arn't even listening and are talking amongst themselves, hilarious!!

the sponsors have done that afew times, but they rarely pull it off without embarrasment. Tonights wasn't the worst treatment of a sponsor, but the poro chap made it worse becauise he looke dabsolutely terrified.

The word sitting and duck spring to mind

That is the trouble with awards ceremonies - everyone hits the sauce good and proper. I often think lifetime achievement awards should be one of the first given out, because of it. You see these people going up on stage, to be greeted by a huge standing ovation, which you can never tell whether it is entirely genuine or just that the old luvvies have come over all emotional.

Simply, I'd much rather receive a standing ovation from sober people who I knew meant it.

I thought it was a bit of a disappointment!

No nominations for The Frank Skinner Show, Baddiel & Skinner Unplanned, The Sketch Show, Harry Hills TV Burp! Do the comedy awards people have some kind of problem with Avalon?

And how on earth did Coupling beat I'm Alan Partridge?? I think whoever decided that was being sarcastic!

Although I suppose it was better than last year when you didn't get a look in unless you were called Ricky Gervais or Peter Kay!

The saddest part of the evening was the appearance of Jordan. It's horrifying to think that she was considered of sufficient merit to have been asked to present an award. How low popular culture has sunk.

The program which was on ITV2 last night at 11pm was great!! It was an hour and a half of pure, raw, live disasters!!! I don’t think nothing went right on that show, but it was great to watch!

Not being funny, but Mark looks bigger now than when he was on rise. As for TPT, well My fave bit was at the end of the night, she was pi**ed. I'm surprised she could read the last bit at all. It was funny hearing her utter 'Oh, he's nice' when Mark was telling the final price for the Jonathon Woss Very Happy Suit. And then we heard Alan Cuming say, 'Oh yes, and him too' referring to the next model in line. They both looked to drunk to care if their voices were being picked up.

Great show all in all. Makes a change from ITV2 dishing out Repeats or boring stuff at late(ish) night.

Has it really sunk though? How exactly is Jordan different to past tits models such as Sam Fox or Linda Lusardi?

What got on my tits!! Laughing about Jordan was that she took so long pis*ing about. I just wish she came on, said a one liner about tits or something, then read the card, not arse about like some little attention seeker! The thought of pensioner man/Youngish woman too........good job I was not eating.
