Can you imagine the press reaction if they hadn't let her have another go and let her leave the stage in tears, the Daily Mail would have had a field day

Either way, its unfair on the other contestants. She's been made out to be so special and the fact is she's just a little girl who can sing (just about). She acts like a spoilt brat and gets her own way. Typical X-Factor sob story. If she got a second chance, shouldn't the other performers?

And it just keeps coming "Um, we're not quite ready to go to the performance yet..oh no, and...yes we are now"

Either way, that was INCREDIBLY uncomfortable viewing.

Though, not a tear in sight...

Well, there's quite an uproar on my Facebook over the whole issue.

Fix. Mummy is creepy and overbearing, and Hollie will not cope with this all over again.

Wouldn't surprise me if there is huge uproar over this. Surely the point of a competition is that all contestants are given an equal chance of entry and winning, a factor which was touched upon with the Loose Women competition error earlier in the week.

Many contestants could now show cause for concern and if she does win, I think we can all predict the headlines!
On a more practical note, surely the fact that the little girl seems to cry at every opportunity raises some concern that she wouldn’t be able to perform at the Royal Variety Performance?! Let alone the final… tomorrow could be very interesting!

Well we've now got a women who is becoming more strange by the day and a girl who now has one day to learn a new song and may mess it up again both into the final. Whichever way it's going to be one to watch

The DS forum is going wild as well, apparantly it is a fix, but who is supposed to be fixing what and why I don't know?

A stage-struck mother is fixing it, I'd say.

They'll have some provision for tomorrow night I'm sure now, I expect they'll pre-record her performance.

But that's not fair at all for the other performers. Some get just as nervous yet they have to perform live just like everyone else. She is obviously too young to perform to millions of viewers so the crocodile tears won't work tomorrow night, mainly because Susan's going to win it anyway.

But if they were to make things fair then they'd bring that Greg through to the final too, as I bet he's not too happy he's lost his chance of having his big break due to a spoilt crying girl.

I really think the comments made towards her mother are very unfair. How is she pushy? All I saw was her going to comfort her little girl? What was she supposed to do, sit back and let her daughter breakdown on TV without getting up and helping her? I suspect her mum was as nervous and stuck as everyone else.

On the Aidan background footage, was that prerecorded, or could a similar effect be attained by using a multicamera set up some how?

I'm sure everyone that has ever been rejected was 'not too happy'. Should they all be brought back? Its only fair.
