One thing they don't seem to have thought about though is if Aquabatique can't perform on the BGT stage, surely they won't be able to perform on the Royal Variety stage. I can't see them asking the Queen to step outside for the performance.
I was hoping they would get at least one 'buzz' to see how they would have shown it on screen. The 'tension' lights for their judges comments was also quite odd as it isn't used for any of the other acts.
The tension lights have been used all week. End of performance. Long shot, tension lights cut to first judge/David for comment. It was only noticeable due to it being done after the ad break & ant & dec speaking.

Whilst I was in the audience for the Manchester auditions there was an act performed outside- a motorcycle stunt performer: however the judges stayed inside to watch it. The act itself was shown on the video screen on the stage, replacing the usual graphics and the judges buzzed as they usually would for an act onstage.
I'd imagine if Aquabatique were buzzed the camera would cut back briefly to a long shot of the stage, with the performance playing on the video screen and the buzzer lights in view.

Interesting! Thanks for that bit of information and yeah thinking about it, there would probably just be a quick cut to a studio shot with the buzzers in view.
I'm not so observant. Don't like though how tonight they've gone to the basic left to right format for judges comments - Simon's way of stopping David referring to him as "My Simon" perhaps?
The left camera crane is really useless, seeming as though it only has 2 shots, 1 still one at the back of the studio, and one where it rotates around that light chandelier.
Nice to see them keep the Wildcard choice underwraps until theshow itself, though a shame they went for yet another singing act, especially as I don't think The Mend have a chance in hell of winning it.

I bet simon believe he could make money of them after it

And they went and put them in the death slot with a bad song and gave them mediocre comments. It seemed a bit pointless after all that.
Overall it was a good final and got the right winners (although any of the top 3 would have been 'right'). Good show this year, and Simon has said on More Talent that all of the judges will be back next year (but he also said that last year too!). I hope he's right, I think this years panel was the best of any British reality show and is reminiscent of the X Factor panel from 2008-2010 which he has been desperate to recreate.

David and Alesha have given a fresh sense of energy to the show. The banter between David and Simon is hilarious! One thing I would say like others on this forum is the way the auditions were put together. I couldn't understand the cross cutting between acts and as a fellow member has stated it is obvious what was going to happen. I did think it was ridiculous having the Loveable Rogues driving round and it was obvious they were going through. What ever happened to just having the act audition with no stuff beforehand just the act.
However a strong finale, one of the strongest I think so hopefully the show will return with all four judges and a little less gimmicks next year
I think they finally topped the 2009 final tonight - no complaints at all really. The panel has just worked too and I think now they kind of have all genres covered - Simon obviously for the music, David for comedy, Amanda has kind of always championed the "variety" acts while Alesha is actually respected on this show for her opinion on dance, unlike on Strictly - and IMO they've needed a dance judge since Diversity won. However the dance crews really need to up their game next year and not just do a routine to a few tracks cut together - Diversity showed tonight why they are a cut above the rest by performing half of their routine just to a piano. It was also the best performance I've seen from Susan Boyle since her very first audition.
If the talent is as strong next year I wouldn't be surprised to see the Wildcard selection fleshed out into a full show, with the 5 losing acts from Judges Choices then perhaps each judge choosing an extra act to make up the nine. I agree though I hope they go back to a more streamlined approach to the auditions - I'd rather see it shown kind of as they unfolded rather than chopping and changing to make a show.
