Please tell me the rumour about Kim Catrall is just a bad joke. I thought Sam Womack as a judge was a bad enough idea! But, Kim Catrall????

They must be mega desperate to be looking towards Hollywood for a judge.

Kim Catrall is British by birth, and has a long and relatively distinguished career.

I'm not disputing any of that, Gav. But, she's like a megastar! Big actress from the international stage and screen. It would be an amazing coup for the show, is the angle I was coming from. My point being: are they really so desperate for the shows success that they've had to reach out to Hollywood to ensure ratings?

I think You, Shereen and Me should be hired as judges.

Dannii can probably be ruled out with Simon returning. Still not sure about David Walliams too - I think he'll get the gig, but won't be anywhere near as good as Michaelo McIntyre.

All confirmed now. I've never been a fan of hers.

I do like Alesha but I think that BGT is a dying brand. No judges can save it, the ratings were down last year and I can only see them falling more this year. It peaked with the year when Diversity won and Susan Boyle came second. I think she would have been better off sticking with Strictly who have shown a lot of loyalty to her during the Arlene replacement fiasco and SCD still has a lot of life left in it.

I tend to agree, actually. She didn't start off terribly well on SCD, but they were fully supportive of her. I thought, in the end, she added a lot to the show. Whilst the show only occasionally wins in the ratings battle, it trounces X Factor on the audience appreciation scale. I've never fully understood why people continue to watch X Factor only to complain about it endlessly on Facebook immediately after. Daft.

I can't imagine why she would choose to jump to a flagging Cowell show, unless of course the cheque was too big to refuse.

It was reportedly three times her salary at SCD!

She must want a change, Saying that I think two David did nothing for BGT and also the fact the never put in proper people into the Semi finals

Watching her on CiN night presenting, I thought there were glimmers of evidence to suggest she'd make quite a good presenter for 'light and fluffy' stuff, or was it just me ?

I wasn't so keen. She kept interjecting into Terry's lines - little murmurs of agreement and exclamation - and it didn't flow well.

She may have handled links well on her own, but in a pairing she kept grabbing focus.
