Fantastic show tonight, can't really fault it at all.

Agree sob stories are boring, but they got the balance right here compared to The X Factor where it was just one after another after another.

The keyboard player should have been buzzed off before he even started, but apart from that pretty much agreed with the decisions throughout. It still annoys me that so many who get through are shown in a brief round up, but unlike The X Factor I don't feel their being overlooked just to show more bad acts - the balance is pretty much spot on.

This comment is debatable but the singer who Piers found "annoyingly entertaining", I found him amazing. He was incredibly hilarious and I found him a very fun part of the show. Shame he was sent out. Though, I admit I can't see him on the Royal Variety. I'm not that crazy. Wink

One thing that annoys about BGT, is that it includes singers. Surely there are enough singing contest on TV already-- it think it would better if they had any other act apart from singers maybe?

Because people who can sing well are talented.

Roger never said they arent! I agree with him, there are more than enough singing contests these days it would be nice if a different act entirely won BGT.

My fave act tonight the performing dog - Gin I think she was called? The judges kept referring to the dog as "he" - why do people always do that!

A fantastic opening episode!

I just wonder whether there is an ITV2 'Xtra' type programme on Saturday nights? There are so many acts that I wouldn't mind seeing more of and extended interviews with. There was so much packed into the opening episode that I want more!

It seems that the show labelled Britain's Got Talent is actually a drama about a cop killer.

Oh dear.

Oh dear.

It's doing the same for every video I've played, unfortunately.

LOL. Yep, dogs are male, cats are female. Always the way I associate it for no justifiable reason at all. And why are all ships female?

Forgot to mention but one thing that did irritate me yesterday were the shots in every act of someone pressing play for the music to come on.

Plus the competition with something like 8-10 lines of terms and conditions which went on for well over a minute. OT, but notice across the board the phrase "mobile rates may vary" has now become something like "calls will cost considerably more from mobiles".
