Just found this thread, tell me guys and girls what happened to the 2 groups I want to see. girl group Skala (?) but like bond playing eletric violins and the girl group playing harps which we onhly saw about 5 secs of anyway in the main shows, did these get anywhere ?

Skala are on tomorrow. The harp group mustn't have got through.

Yes thank goodness they made it, don't understand about Harpo I think they were called, like they were forgotton about

Today's show seemed quite poor after last nights. No surprise Faryl got straight through - but for me she's good, but not great. Also thought Charlie would make the top three over Jerome, but in the end that made it easier to put Andrew in the final.

As for Piers Morgan - smarmy git yes, but I think the panel works quite well on the show, far better than The X Factor indeed. And they seem to all get on too, without having to agree all the time.

Well there's a surprise - Escala get through. They're not doing much that Bond haven't done, to be honest.

I thought tonight's show was fairly poor. I also thought that Per Diem were behaving like spoiled children - not everybody gets the break that they have but they're sulking like kids.

I don't get that, "they're not doing much that Bond haven't done". Who are Bond?

No, never heard of them so ta for the link Wells. It's not really my cuppa so I wouldn't have taken notice of anything like that before had I seen them on TV. Yeah, Escala's not quite as original as they would seem then!

They seemed good, but there was so much backing track it was hard to tell at times.

I thought Nemesis were fantastic - much more my thing than Bond...

Pretty poor show tonight IMO - only Escala stood out as anything special, but they're still not a match for some of the acts earlier in the week. Nemisis were OK, but not as good as Flava IMO. And Per Diem really didn't take rejection too well - it just looked like they didn't want to be there at all.

It'll be interesting to see the running order tomorrow and if they blatantly put the act they want to win (probably Faryl or George) at the end. I was quite surprised tonight actually they didn't save Madonna till last - thank god she wasn't put through.

I think it was because there is already a group called Skala. That's what Steven said on More talent.

Yeah what a weird reaction! Even the magic act that met with complete silence from the audience held themselves together better! It's a shame for them as I think it was probably nerves etc on the night - but back to Tesco for them me thinks.

Yes it was reported in the Daily Mirror yesterday that a belgium group is under the same name:

Daily Mirror posted:
Electric string quartet Scala have been forced to change their name - because it belongs to a little-known female voice choir in Belgium.

The girls, a favourite for tonight's semi-final, changed to Escala after EM I threatened to sue, despite having used it for two years.

An insider said: "They have their own website and branding, so they're very annoyed."

Don't get at all how Piers could call last nights the best semi-final of the week. I thought it was the worst myself and until Escala came on I didn't particularly think any act deserved a place in the final.

Wednesday's show was by far the best IMO.
