Who was that kid who everyone thought was amazing but was pretty crap? You know, the walking joke book? Sure, he was confident, but that doesn't equal good. I'm certain that all the cheers came from his family. The judges though he would go far - why, because he can repeat some awful jokes everyone's heard before? His only gift is confidence, but that doesn't mean he's good.

Same goes for Faryl. She really is nothing special.

Oh dear that Madonna's sob story made for uncomfortable viewing. And was it really necessary to put up that pic of her kids up during her performance.

Cowell called it right, it's supposed to be based on talent not sob stories.

And now this dancer ....

I do hope the stupid ones among the ITV viewers don't buy Madonna's sob-story - her singing's ok but she side-stepped the most difficult notes. Putting the picture of the kids up during the performance was one of the most devious manipulative things they could've done. Evil or Very Mad

I looked at Madonna's performance and thought it could be something out of Rock Rivals. Totally inappropriate, IMO!

Also, I'm not impressed that all I've seen tonight are dancers and singers. Surely Britain's Got More Talent (no pun intended) than this?

Also, is it just me who thinks that Faryl Smith has a face like Anneka Rice?

Is the chance to "perform in front of Prince Charles" really a prize people actually want? I'd rather just take the money personally - the Royals clearly never want to be there anyway.

Plus all this "do you really think Prince Charles would want to see this?" rubbish from the Judges gets on my nerves. Whatever they're judging It can't be be worse then half the crap they usually put on at the Royal Variety Performance anyway. Rolling Eyes

Thank God it wasn't just me, I always thought she was overrated and desperate.

But the it's the show which he makes, that gives us these sob stories time after time.

Yeh too many, and I'd have put the "comedian" through.
