I hope they stop with these Grease programmes.I hate Grease and that High School Musical thing is actually better for kids because it might be cheesy but at least there's no swearing.Grease should at least be a 15.
I guess the real reason is conflict with the judges commitment - if they'd done it earlier it would clash with American Idol (Simon) and if they'd done it later it would clash with America's Got Talent (Piers).
I do think though it would have been better airing in the Grease slot - it would have done better against Joseph as it is actually different - and classic ITV vs classic BBC. Grease could have then aired over the summer once Joseph finished - though of course that would put the stage show back too.
The first part i thought it was going to be dull, but overall it was very good just ashame we didnt get to see more acts and less of the Pop Idol/XFactor type chatting.

I do think we saw more than usual though - and most importantly, the focus was more on the good stuff than the bad stuff.
Maybe ill need to re-watch it It just seemed like a there wasent a lot - but either way i enjoyed it and fitted well to a Saturday slot. Maybe would have been better to have it on every Saturday, or even try what the Americans do with shows and try one or two nights during a week night.

Yep, which was refreshing and probably why I enjoyed it so much. Looking forward to tomorrow night now.

I think we only actually got to see 4 or 5 actual full acts with all the others getting looked over in highlights. It really didn't seem much though which could prove a problem.
I have officially stopped watching Big Brother now that this is on. A great show overall. Even though BB isn't on until 10, I have stopped watching anyway. I might even watch Britain's Got More Talent on ITV2.
It's quite good, looking forward to seeing how the series pans out.
The really good thing about it compared with X Factor et al is the variety, you never really jnow what's coming next, and there's no endless parade of teenage girls wanting to do their Celine Dion act.
Having said that I wish they'd shown a few more acts rather than just showing brief bits of the ones that got through and those that got 3 X'd very quickly
I actually prefer BBC2's Let Me Entertain You which gives more potential airtime to the performer. Brian Conely really gets behind the act before and during the performance and you get none of that X Factor following them on a journey cr@p you get with the ITV's offering.
