Michael McIntyre made me lol on the Royal Variety Performance (as did Jack Whitehall, scarily) so I suppose I will give him a chance on BGT...

Not sure about the Hoff is for BGT. I'm more worried about the return of the awful Amanda Holden... she must be the worst female actress/presenter in Britain.

I do think The Hoff will work well on BGT. He has a role to play and he plays it well - plus he's completely different to either Simon or Piers.

As for Simon - they've said he'll be back for the live shows but I wonder if he'll be back for the selection of the finalists. I do think really he should have done at least one lot of auditions and then like the London auditions of The X Factor they could have just split them up and featured them throughout the audition shows so Simon still basically features in every episode.
