you really cant stand the ITV brand can you? if you are that concerned dont watch it. I think you are slow because you are living in the past and want everything to be like the old days of ITV. I would like you to come up with the money to continue regional ITV, because advertsising alone doesnt pave away for that wasting of money at this age. Wake up mate.
i made no reference to the itv1 brand,
i suggest you re-read the post i was replying to ... i shall break it down into bullet points for you *clears throat*

ok, now, are you honestly trying to tell me that charles allen would like to take stv over so he can start to make more regional programmes?

What I was saying is that I would like Scottish TV to change its name to ITV1 Scottish (because I don't like Scottish being different from the rest of the country) and along with lots of other members here at TV Forum, have more regional programming.

We have NEVER been used to having the ITV brand pushed in our face here in the STV region.Whilst i agree things are changing and it is probably a matter of time before we see ITV 1 Scotland .In the meantime long may the Grampian and Scottish TV brands continue.ITV can waste money changing the brand name up here in Scotland.The harsh reality is in Central Scotland viewers will always refer to the station as STV NOT Scottish TV or ITV 1 Scotland and in North Scotland i'm afraid Grampian will ALWAYS be Grampian nothing else and most certainly NOT ITV Scotland viewers in the Western Isles are NOT going to say oh yes that's on ITV 1 Scotland .

You know i thought i'd get someone posting that Rolling Eyes .The reality though is most people in central Scotland call the channel STV even although the name was changed to Scottish Television nearly 21 yrs ago now .

Judging by the clips I've just seen on BBC Breakfast, it appears that the BRITS 25 show has had that horrible, nasty, and
totally pointless "filmic" effect added in post production. What is it with TV producers obsession with that needless effect?

I was about to post this as well. Why the hell does anyone really think this looks good? It doesn't, it's awful. If the show itself actually is filmic (which is probabally will be), I won't be watching. I don't know why producers are so obsessed with slapping this look everywhere they think posible, they are just ruining the show. Shame, as I had really been looking forward to this year's brits. If it is there, I will be complaining, because at least if enough people do, it might be gone next year.
