Great opening performance by Coldplay. Quite a small tribute to Whitney Houston...Maybe there'll be more later on.

Is it just me noticing some of the shaky camera work and blurred shots shown so far? Confused

Yup. I guess it's because they cant put a tripod on the "catwalk" so they used the unsteady "steady cam"
How did they make the zooming shot of Florence at the beginning of her shot without the camera being so shaky as it zoomed in?

Like what? It was crowbarred in badly enough at the beginning without going back to it.

Is it me or the SD broadcast is quite fuzzy and the HD broadcast is mediocre at best?!?

(I'm using ITV1 Westcountry SD and ITV1HD Central).

SD via West on DSat looks clear enough to me, and what I saw of HD earlier seemed alright, though I wasn't looking especially closely...

Yes, it does. It switched over a couple times to SD as the sound was a bit off on my HD feed. The performance was actually very pixelated.

Isn't this just the same programme as last year? James Cordon's deadpan and joke-free presenting was a novel and worthwhile experiment last year but it started getting boring after two hours of it. Who thought it would be a good idea to do the same again?

It's not like Keith Lemon isn't available, he is doing the ITV2 coverage.

I can't decide who I'd rather not watch more.

What on earth has happened to the Brits??? They used to be something worth watching, now its just an excuse for Z-Listers to present it. Whoever thought James Corden was a good choice of host, is clearly not wired up right.

Think they really need to sort it out for next year and get it back to the way it used to be.

That was a bad move by the person who ever made that decision...To cut of the speech from the Best Award of the night is not right. They could just have simply gone over their time limit by a couple of secodns rather than cutting of a 6 time grammy winner for 2012
