I was disappointed by this programme. We spent most of the time watching the unfunny presenter try and sneak up on the people he was supposedly trying to re-unite. Why not just bloody ask them nicely and then tell us what they're all up to? Why did they think it was more entertaining to watch "the chase" rather than the subjects? The performance on stage went down like a lead balloon with the audience, mainly because they mostly seemed too young to remember a Grange Hill cast from 1986.

I couldn't believe how similar it was to VH1's Bands Reunited.
All the sneaking up on people, getting them to sign the book, the interviews, the crew often being in shot, and the split screen performance at the end...
Only difference was the performance at the end is usually a bit better in Bands Reunited!

It didn't really work anyway. There wasn't really much singing element to it. Should have been called Grange Hill Reunited at least.

I've just caught up on my viewing and watched this show. It wasn't dire, but I would have preferred to see less of the presenter running around and more of the actors being interviewed. The 'Just Say No' encore performance
was
pretty dire, though.
I have to say the female members of the cast that were shown seemed to have fared much better than the men in the looks department! I couldn't believe how much weight Lee 'Zammo' McDonald had gained! He's obviously not doing enough speed and herion these days!
It was a delight to see Alison Bettles again, and to learn she is still acting in between reproducing. What has she acted in recently though - presumably she's doing theatre work. She does feature in some of the 'Haven Holidays' commercials, along with two of her children.
I enjoyed the show, all-in-all - it was a trip down memory lane, and I found it quite touching when the cast met each other again after almost twenty years.
