Anyone see any of these shows then?
Obviously the Christmas Top Ten (hosted by Noddy Holder) was a repeat from about 2001 but I had to note at the end they edited the new Band Aid 20 song with the original 1984 Do They Know Its Christmas.
Justin Lee Collins was chasing up former glam-rockers in a bid to make a traditional Christmas number 1 for 2005. Apparently there hasn't been a traditional Christmas no. 1 since Cliff Richard's Saviours Day in 1990 and to quote Justin.. "It was sh*t!"
I also found it amusing when JLC is holding up a card for 'Dave Hill' at the airport - mentioning to passers by that he's looking for Dave Hill and people haven't got a clue who he's on about.
I also laughed when he is talking to Rob Davies from the band Mud about when he (Rob) wrote songs for Gareth Gates. JLC goes "Gareth Gates!? Oh god he was sh*t!.....no, no i'm joking of course".
"b-b-b-b-bom bom b-b-b-b-bom....thats his doorbell.."
I have to say, I did enjoy it and I hope the song (at least) gets in the charts!
