I am looking at starting up my own website showing cartoon series from the 80's and 90's. I am currently sending out numerous e-mails to the copyright holders but seem to be struggling with some. The reason I am doing this is because I believe that childrens tv is no longer made the way it used to be, with such programmes where teens tell adults they hate them and they feel unloved. Is this why we have problems in households and children getting into trouble a lot more than they used to?? Some programmes i'm looking at are bananaman, super ted and dangermouse and some more. The age group I am looking to aim this at is the 5-10 year olds, and for some grown ups who would like to relive those childhood memories of the broom cupboard and citv. I am looking for a response of people who would like to see this happen or not and suggestions for why or why not. Also to be cheeky because of the copyright costs, I was looking, if the website was up and running at charging a fee of £5.00 monthly, would you pay this for viewing of such fantastic cartoons. And to help before that would anyone sponsor me to help beat those legal bullies so that instead of these videos gather dust in their cupboards I can do my dream and show them to millions of children who miss out on these shows.
