BREAKING NEWS: No new look for BBC News

I would be in the chatroom but I've just come back from the gym and have to be up about about 6am tomorrow so I'm pretty tired!

Here's what Mr Bods says.

It's at one end of the newsroom - there's a downstairs bit too with a comfy seating area.

They were going to use the training studio at MHS for the evening shows and have a proper set but they built the newsroom bit for the daytime bulletins (the studio is booked during the day). However they've decided to keep the newsroom bit all the time cos they 'like the look'

I've seen a small picture of the set (complete with the presenter on it.) and yes it is open plan but there should be a big enough gap between the studio part and the newsroom for noise to be a problem.

It's the TV Forum on NotBBC - where I'm known as c@t, so don't look for Cheshirec hanging around the place!

can we see the picture... PLEASE

I think people are getting confused between national news and Newsroom South East .... which I think is what Cheshirec is talking about. London Live (and indeed NSE at the moment) is coming from the newsroom at MHS.
The team that produces the national summaries is changing but that's not a huge change.
I think you might see some changes to summaries but I really don't know for sure.

NickyS we all know you are quite important to bbc news, could you show us these images of the london live studio, please, and maybe even a still from the opening titles.
