How do we want Breakfast TV to go and who watches what?
BBC1:Breakfast is a bit newsy but i do watch it,even though i got London News the other day!
GMTV:Now i do watch that but why do they look weird on the Today titles?
Channel 4:I prefer Four to GMTV but i havent watched it for a while.
I think RI:SE could be brought back with John Snow doing an hour of news and Richard Bacon&Denise Van Outen till 9.00 because they were fantastic on This Morning a few months back.

I’m sorry, but I want TV-am back is was good!
But the BBC news has to move back to the old days with more news to it. I don’t think that the couch thing works from the.
without sounding like i am always onna about it
But if you want a more newsy breakfast programme with proper reports as well as talking to guests/reporters live then
The ITV News Channel between 7am and 9am is always my first choice.
Fridays are the best as Shuilie Ghosh and Chris Rogers usually present but rest of the time its usually (i say usually very lightly) Andrew Harvey and Lucy Alexander
I think GMTV should mix three themes together. The start of the original then the start of the 2003 theme used for two days then more of 93 which goes to the end of the current music with the 03 music when the titles finish. And the current titles need to go or edit the original version from Sep 03.
They do look weird on the current version though, you've got to admit it!

which one was the one they used for two days? was this when they had that fab set with the flashing lights?
BBC1 Breakfast - Boring, tedious and full of dull stories that would struggle to get on the quietest English regional news programme.
GMTV - Brainless, lowest common denominator guff.
Channel 4 - Aren't even trying any more.
Personally I want a news programme without any gimmicks, that just gives me a 15 minute bulletin so I can disappear and get ready for work. I don't want a weather presenter telling me where they are in the country for 5 minutes, then doing a 30 second summary of the weather. Therefore at the moment I'm watching Sky News every morning, although if the onset of Eamonn Holmes is going to result in a sofa-style show with all sorts of features, I'll be off to the ITV News Channel.
i think sunrise will be excellent when eamonn joins. i tend to stick sunrise on now when i get up but its just like watching sky news any other time except with the weather at a weird time. from the publicity we've seen, it looks like it'll be good - not too fluffy but probably a bit more fun than at the moment.
