And if there's ever an advert for pre-recording your opening headline sequence...

That clip proves how inappropriate it is going from them fooling around to the presenters being all serious talking about landslide deaths!

Still, would love to see our Daybreak or BBC Breakfast mimic that for a laugh Very Happy

They could ditch the opening title sequence if there's serious news around. Wink

Rude Awakening

That was the name of the original breakfast show on Talk Radio UK, presented by Moz Dee and Carol Mcgiffen. Then not long before launch they swapped the breakfast and evening shows so 'The Rude Awakening' went out at 7PM Confused

Oh my, that's gonna work really well in every circumstance....

'3,000 dead in terrorist attack.... it's a wonderful day.....'

Feels like the start of a sitcom.. it needs some canned laughter.

It's the very best news... Channel 2 and Daybreak!

I know, it's an absolute car crash of a headline sequence.

One has to wonder what occurs if its raining locally, do they have a second theme tune about it being poor weather?

The Hoobs.

Are you taking the mickey? Just because The Hoobs gets shown on Channel 4 around 6am these days doesn't mean it's a breakfast show. It's a pre-school educational programme. Circa 2003/2004 I remember it being on Channel 4 mid morning Mondays to Fridays during the 4 Learning strand (schools programmes).

Oh, good grief. TT, you should go to Jamaica and become a limbo dancer.
