What would you call a breakfast show? (October 2011)

At work I'm a Television Research and Presentation Advisor, and I've been set a mission to design a new breakfast show, from the look of it right up to possible presenters, my first goal to fulfil is to think of a name, of which is becoming increasingly harder to do. I can only think of taken names or some similar to existing shows.

All I can think of is:
Today
Early- similar to CBS' The Early Show
Sunrise
AM- similar to The Andrew Marr Show
Aurora
Daylight
Sunshine...

Any help?

Snap, Crackle and Pop. With Anthea Turner and Dale Winton.

(and I'm being deadly serious).

Jan Leeming as newscaster.

The Early Edition with ___________________ and ______________________. Quite like that name. The key to Breakfast tv though is keeping the names simple.

Id like to see Julie Etchingham and Vernon Kay present it. Id like to see Geraint Vincent and Charlotte Hawkings reading the news and Craig Doyle doing the sports.

Any thoughts?

What is your job? Are you sure this isn't homework?

What about a programme called 'Praise Jesus'. Send viewers off to work with a prayer in their heart and a hymn in their soul. Ideally presented by Jesus himself but failing that, Vernon Kaye and a different guest vicar each week would be equally as good.

Features would include a daily Beadles About style prank that ends up teaching the 'victim' a lesson from the bible. Another feature would involve Lloyd Grossman (or whoever is available) taking a look around a church followed by a celebrity panel (Tommy Cannon, Bobby Ball, Terry Waite etc.) having to guess whose church it is. A running joke would be that the correct answer is always God.

Other regular items might include 'Funny Gravestones' (viewer submitted), 'The New Adventures of Jesus' (specially commissioned live action comedy series starring Lenny Henry in the title role) and 'What if God was one of us' (I don't know what this would consist of, but it is a good name for a feature).

Throughout the programme, the presenter(s) would read out viewers prayer requests. They would go in to each break with a hymn possibly sung by the choir of the week.

Aurora sounds like a dreadful name. Likewise for Daylight... and for Sunshine.... and for Early. The Early show, yes, but not just 'Early'... Imagine the presenter at the TOTH:

'Good Morning, it's Monday the 6th of September, it's six o'clock - this is Early.'
