I wonder if they would risk doing it again in the garden, there were so many things that could have gone wrong. I’d love to see them trying to read the papers on a windy day.
What next for risk taking Breakfast, an OB from the roof of Television Centre or out on the streets in the BBC Bus!
However to be serious for a moment what if some bad news had broke during breakfast; the presentation of the programme was very nice and sweet , everything in the garden was lovely this fine summer morning but it would not have quite suited the summery frocks and flowers if something unpleasant needed to be reported.
Did they think of that scenario ?
BTW is Breakfast shot in the same studio as Blue Peter?

Why would they have to wear black clothes and look miserable for bad news?
If something along the scale of September 11th had happened again, I'm sure they could have gone back inside or cut to World.

serious, they could hand to Moira for 1 minute while they make their way back to main studio. Otherwise one presenter could make their way back to the studio during a report while the other handed back.
I don't know if anyone else saw but when they handed back from the the .30 regional news a man was seen running across the screen in front of Natasha and Dermott just as they began to speak.
Yep, I saw that. I think the whole outside thing made Natasha get a little over stimulated, she seemed rather excited at the end of the progoramme.
It was quite funny, because yesterday I was just thinking how much parts of breakfast were turning blue peter style. (dont ask me how i came about that similarity!!). Next we will have BIG MOIRA saying "heres one i made earlier"
Breakfast in the garden was very good! Complete with Tina bangs opting out too late for the last bulletin, we saw LDN for a sec. big slap of wrist for Miss bangs from North West Big boss me thinks. I just love her banging the desk so loud. Is that where she gets the ‘Bangs’ surname from??? If only NWT would do that. Granada reports would lose all viewers.
Anyway, yes, Today's Breakfast was fab. Bout time BEEB had better stuff than Good Morning TV. Good Beeb. I am one happy customer. I will shop here again.

no - Breakfast is TC7, Blue Peter is TC1.They are all circled around the garden though so it is nearby.
Not stricktly true. BP comes from different studios in TVC depending on their needs. If they need a big studio, they will use TC1, but otherwise their most likely to use TC3/4.
And TC1 isn't that close to the BP garden, it's probably the furthest one away from it!

Don't you just go throught the doughnut with the fountain in it and go round the edge of Studio 9 to get there?
Does Studio 9 still have the old Childrens style sign on it? As good as the bugs are you can never beat that logo.
Yeah it's just to the left of Studio 9 ... and the canteen!! Studio 9 still has its pre-1997 sign on it, but there are bugs galore inside!! Took me half an hour to find the bloody garden - "go round the ring road and it's on your right" .. how can it be on my right - that'd be the doughnut!!
I don't suppose anyone noticed me in the BP garden during Breakfast and Blue Peter did they? Probably not as I was in the jacuzzi with Konnie and Simon! He he he.
