Did you see Breakfast this morning.

It was presented by Jeremy Bowen with Hazel Irvine and Roger Black in Edmenton.
They used special titles, similar to those Vote 2001 Breakfast ones.

The 'News 24 Briefing' was presented by Kate Sanderson. I expected her to throw in a 'Harry Potter' story and explain everything really basically!

The Weather was done by Carol Kirkwood

What did the special titles look like? I got the end titles - I wasn't up until 8.25, from jetlag after sleeping from about 5.00pm yesterday!

Just like those Vote 2001 ones, except there was a picture of a stadium in place of the Houses of Parliament.
They will be in use tommorow as well!

There was also a different regional opt-out sting.

I was quite surprised to see Kate Sanderson presenting the 'News 24 Briefing' at 07:30 this morning. She looked more grown up than she does on Newsround.

*Hmmphh...if I watch Breakfast every morning, I got to put up with Bowen! Dammit!*

I was going to this morning but woke up too late! Tomorrow will be better (if they're using them) as I have to get up early.

BTW, did Kate Sanderson do the news again today?

Yep Kate did the News 24 briefings this morning.

I must say that Jeremy seemed a bit lonely in London, he wasn't operating in his usual laid back style either.

Also, just a point to add they didn't use the special opening titles at 7 or 8 (I'm not sure of 6 because I was checking GMTV) and they only played the special regional opt out sting at 6:28.

I don't know if this is how it was done yesterday but it seems weird!

Also, a slight mistake at 8am, the:

BREAKFAST
BBC NEWS

text appeared at the bottom (as on the regional opt out sting) all through the titles, luckily the normal BREAKFAST and BBC NEWS in the middle didn't appear, else it could of looked messy.

I think this is intentional, as it was the same yesterday. Can't think why though, it doesn't look very good!

Broadcast this week says there's going to be a new 30-minute 'early morning' all-business programme on BBC1 from 3rd September - that might have got something to do with the changes on Breakfast . I don't know whether the new show will be part of Breakfast or not though.Confused
