The Box in nostalgia spirit

I still don't quite get what's going on with the Box with the nostalgic flashbacks?
Is Channel 4 going to change things drastically with the brand?

My guess is they're either just jumping on the "retro is cool" bandwagon or they're doing a VH1 and reviving an old logo for the sake of it... It was VH1 who did that, wasn't it?

The logo is inaccurate though, "music television you control", seeing as it hasn't been viewer controlled for well over a decade.

Technically they have got 'The Request Show' running at the moment, which while it isn't like before, it does play voiceovers of audio requests in the style of an answer machine...

I reckon after this, The Box will probably rebrand with a new look, or something like that.
Channel 4's not really saying anything really about the fates of the former Box TV channels
