Border's 'axed' logo

But at http://www.border-tv.co.uk , the new logo is up. (You'll have to click on it, the logo is part of the background.) I wonder if the chopstick logo will appear in the next ident?

They've got to do something as they are the worst dare I say it since carlton 1997-99 idents in fact even more worse than them:shock:

Why are you all so surprised that the website has still got the old logo anyway? It doesn't look like it's been updated for years! How difficult could it be for them to design a new one? God, I'd do them one for free if they wanted!

Granada, Carlton or SMG, ought to take poor Border out of this ident / identity misery. It just seems like nobody loves Border.

Border was actually not bad presentation wise up until a couple of years ago, certainly better than YTV. Although I haven`t seen it for a while, it for a while from what I can gather it has declined rapidly.
Can anyone shed some light on its continuity now. Does it all come from Leeds or do Border still do some themselves as I read somewhere. If it all does come from YTV then how do they manage to provide local links when they have 3 Granada Media stations to look after. Or does it get pushed to the bottom of the pile. Also what about it`s ident, do they just use the rotating heart now or are the lines and video clips still used.

Poor old Border. It gets neglected up there!

I think Channel TV is a good station. Its totally independent and covers a very small area, yet it manages to have cool idents and an excellent news programme.

Border could be a good station, if someone took the time to make it into one. Nobody seems bothered at Border anymore. Shame.

Heh, heh! Well, yes, the hearts will change on August 11th. ITV is changing its name to ITV1 - as stated in other threads. Border does have another site with the correct logo on - http://www.border-tv.co.uk. Border is owned by GMG.
