Border Weather

I notice Border Weather have a new sponsor - BMI Baby. com. The United Utilities sponsor ended a couple of months ago. Have any other former GMG regions changed?

Granada Weather ended the United Utlilites sponsorship in October, then they switched to the generic slide with the cool music and now we have 'Granada Weather sponsored by BMI Baby', primarily advertising Manchester Airport, though I don't think Granada and Border are the only regions who have BMI Baby, doesn't Tyne Tees and ITV London have it too?

Granada Weather also have the BMI Baby Sponsorship.



I think Central, Wales, Tyne Tees has it, but I think London have BMI not BMI Baby, but I'm not sure

BMI Baby are the sponsers of STV and Grampian weather too

Tyne Tees have it too, but It's slightly strange to have it in both sub-regions as virtually no-one in the TTTV North region ever uses "Durham Tees Valley International" (aka Teeside). I think London weekday is using Topps Tiles.

ITV Wales Weather is sponsored by BMI Baby as well, however ITV West Weather is sponsored by something else.

Central Weather sponsored by bmi baby as well.

Border was also advertising for Teeside airport.

Channel TVs weather is also sponsered by BMI Baby. Infact it has been for months now. Although they only seem to fly to really obscure places like Nottingham from Jersey.

Looks like BMI are trying to go for a Legal and General approach...

I believe that Central were the first region to have BMI Baby sponsorship - that's the region where the airline is based. It started out at Nottingham East Midlands Airport...

So basically BMI/BMI Baby sponsor the Weather in the following regions....

London Weekend
ITV Wales
Central
Channel
Granada
Border
Tyne Tees
Scottish TV
Grampian TV

As said, it is very "Legal & General", but they had the better animation at the beginning of the opening titles.
