Bootsale Challenge

I have been watching Bootsale Challenge today and it has had a total revamp.

It doesnt look anything like the programme I remember!

Different music, opening titles, graphics, presenter and format!

Basically the only thing that has stayed the same is the programme name!

More annoyingly the end credits had the following url on them :-

angliatv.com/bootsale

Are ITV fobbing off their viewers with regional Anglia programmes?
Or was it a mistake?

Im sure previous series of Bootsale Challenge were a LLN Production or am I mixing that up with another programme?

Not that I watch Boot Sale Challenge much (It's cheap TV) but I think they finished the LNN series so had to move on to a different region. So expect to see the one produced by Anglia for a few weeks now

Oh are they screening all the regional ones from Sundays during the week at 5pm on network ITV1 ?

Do all the regional ones have different music, titles etc. ?

Also the quite butch presenter ends the programme by saying join us again next week at the same time - and then the ITV1 announcer corrects her by saying its back at 5pm again!

Yep. It's just something cheap to fill the schedules. The show is a good idea in theory, but the fact that every region has a different set of rules (ie £50 on one region £100 on the other) lets it down. Plus my friend informs me the production team put the items on random stalls, but not sure if this is true or not.

You'd think they would have adapted the url to be:-

Yes they've started showing Anglia's version today, the last few weeks have been LNN's version which had been made for a few years and wasn't it kind of a network programme anyway?, other GMG regions have only started making a version this year

So does this mean LWT's current regional series, Sundays at 6pm are still using the same look to what they always have done and arn't using the look that Anglia's (and everyone elses) version does

Oh and talking about URL's what do Carlton's regions use on the credits of their regional programmes?

Well yesterday at 6pm I saw itv.com/carltoncentral on their regional program credits.

Well, it's all change on Monday 18th August at 5pm on ITV1, as Boot Sale Challenge goes to make way for .............. can you guess ...............yes, that's right.............. You've Been Framed, Lisa Riley style.

Talking of BSC, how many regions have Ted Robbins (Better known as Den Perry from Phoenix Nights) presenting? As I assumed at first that BSC was only on GMG North. But I find it weird that a low budget Bargain Hunt, seems to be prodcued by LNN Factuals! (And not Carlton TV!)
