Okay folks, I'll reveal what got me into Boogie Beebies in the first place.
Boxing Day 2006 I was channel hopping and around 17:40 turned over to CBeebies intending to record the Xmas ident for my ident collection (you see, I collect idents). When I turned to CBeebies I landed about a third of the way through the Big Video: "Brave Prince". As a keen Eurovision fan, the melody of "Brave Prince" sounded somewhat like a past Eurovision Song Contest entry (circa mid to late eighties), but I couldn't think which song, country or year, and have been unable to a similar soundalike Eurovision song since.
The next couple of evenings I cottoned on that "Brave Prince" was being used all that week, so I videoed the "Brave Prince" edition of Boogie Beebies shown on Friday 29 December 2006 17:30 - 17:45, and watched it later that evening. The first Saturday in January I watched it again, and tried some of the moves

Having realised what fun it is to join in and copy Pete and the Boogie Bunch, I then thought what a pity a similar programme to this didn't exist in my preschool days.

Just like I wish to this day that indoor play complexes (soft play, ball pits and slides), and water slides had been around when I was a kid.
Late February I browsed the Boogie Beebies section of the CBeebies web site. With the wide selection of dances in "All The Dances", I fancied seeing some of the others on TV (as opposed to partial / whole video clips of the Big Videos on the site) so since early March I've recorded the shows, and joined in with them. Great fun!

Well it's my way of making up for something I missed out on as a playgroup age child. That's why last Sunday afternoon I was able to produce the list of so many different Big Video dances that have been covered the last two months (including which ones were made in 2004 or 2006).
Hope I've satisfied your curiosity.
