Don't know if this has ever been shown before on a primetime BBC drama but an enraged beheading of a character!

This was the most simply ridiculous bit of television I've seen in months. Crazed religious zealots in the Westcountry?

Nah. The only place you'd be likely to see this is the southern states of the USA.

Edit : Did anyone see the fake news item in the middle? Instead of doing a Doctor Who and doing a fake 'News 24' (or, more recently, just 'News') they used some tower-like graphics for LATEST NEWS.

And the clock froze at 8:09, despite the fact that in the drama's terms, it was dark outside.

I Agree, what a bore it was.

6.8 million watched the first episode but the majority won't stick around for episode 2. I thought it was watchable nonsense.

apart from the enraged racial beheading I know I won't watch again. There is a similar programme dotting around the SKY1/2/3 channels in a similar vein which is far more superior.

It was boring! When is Hustle back on, again? LOL

That programme just made me angry. Obviously written by someone with a grudge against Christians and not much idea about what Christianity is... Anyway, I noticed the news with the old News 24 look - that was about the only interesting thing in the entire programme. Remember, "use your archaeological imagination". Puh.

I've started dropping that line into everyday conversation when I get asked a question. It's so goofy!!

So predict next week's rating for Bonekickers. I say 5 million.

The programme to me is quite watchable, I'm hopeful that it might just improve.

Obviously written by someone with a very clear appreciation of the negative effects of extremism in any religion.

I tried watching it and got very bored. After some excellent trailers it didn't live up to the hype. I made a second attempt to watch the last 30 minutes but found myself easily distracted by the weather forecast on the BBC website instead.

I won't be watching the next episode.

The second episode looks a bit better. Has anybody seen any TV mags reviews for the episode, where they complimentary or did they give it a real Bonekicking?

Laughing I wonder if the producers would give the same treatment to Islam?
