Well, we're an hour into the coverage of the Boat Race.

Or not - for there has actually been no coverage of the Boat Race itself so far. We have had an hour of who the boatsmen are, what they eat for breakfast, what time they go to the toilet, etc. All pointless information shurely?

Can we not just start a programme at 5 o'clock to cover the race?

It is also worth noting that there is someone on one of the teams called "Henry Pelly". Hilarious.

Yes I was wondering why we had to have all that forensic information an hour before the race, was rather tiresome I thought.

Anyway I think the Boat Race is a fix, always the same two teams in the final Wink

In the US college sports is such a big thing, especially football. I've tried to explain to Americans that we don't have university sports on TV here, except damn Varsity matches . Pity that ITV don't engineer regional heats so that Cambridge would have to beat UEA before they got to the quarter-finals where they would have to be sponsored by the Norwich and Peterborough Building Society!
