Another repeat on BBC Four, The channel is not what it used to be at all these days.

BBC4 certainly wasn't showing new programming after midnight even when the BBC was swimming in cash. And if you're going to celebrate a TV show's anniversary, it would make sense to show some episodes of it.

At the start of this week's Blue Peter, they announced that 28 former presenters would be appearing on next week's show.

Given that there's only been 35 previous presenters (or 39 including unofficial presenters), that must mean that almost every surviving presenter will be appearing (or possibly all of them), which is quite an achievement.

But would they include Richard Bacon?

I don't see why they wouldnt, there's been a lot of water under the bridge since he was fired.

Who are the 4 unofficial presenters?

Even John Leslie appearing?

I think Bacon would appear, I think they might steer clear of John Leslie.

Ann Taylor - presented for 85 days
Tony Hart - presented for 7 days
Sandra Michaels - presented for 7 days

Peter Duncan was also an unofficial presenter between 1985 and 1986 (but an official presenter between 1980 and 1984), so technically there's 3 unofficial presenters.

Can't see any reason why not.

He was acquitted in court earlier this year, and the reason for him leaving This Morning was never confirmed by the person in question.

He appeared on This Morning earlier this year, so can't see any reason for him not to appear on Blue Peter.

I'm producing the documentary for BBC Radio 2 about the 60th... and it's definitely 37 presenters.

'only' four former presenters seem to be dead from a quick google so there are at least 3 not appearing if they are expecting 28.

The list of 37 includes the 2 current presenters, so there's 35 former presenters.
